I am Zaira - Nutritionist, Health Coach & Counsellor

M My interest in nutrition and its effect on the mind goes back nearly 30 years when I first trained in the practice of Yoga as a way of life.

For years I enjoyed good health and thought I was coping pretty well with the ups and downs of life.

It was while I was training in nutrition that I realised that my health was definitely showing signs of wear and tear.

My search for achieving optimum health has led me to explore Eastern traditional medicine approaches such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda that see an individual as an integration of the physical, mental and emotional - each connected to and affected by the other- and always seeking the root of the problem.

I also suffered from depression at one stage in my life and on reflection, while therapy had its place, it was my Yoga training with its emphasis on right food, at the right time and a healthy routine that helped me through it.
